Connect your AI assistant
One plug-in connects the AI assistant you already use to your Breathing Fish University account, using the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). It acts only for you, and only with the rights you approve.
Four steps
- Add the plug-inAdd “Breathing Fish University” from your AI app’s connector or app directory, or follow our setup guide for apps that need manual configuration.
- Sign inOn your first request a Breathing Fish University sign-in page opens in your browser. You sign in with a passkey or an authenticator app.
- ApproveThe consent page shows which app is connecting, the role it will act in (for example “applicant” or “degree student”) and its rights in plain words.
- StudyYour app receives a short-lived token for you alone. Each app you connect appears separately under “Connected apps” in the portal, where you can revoke it at any time.
Availability. The plug-in will be released with the first course intake. The server address will be published here and in the portal.

Commitments stay on secure pages
Payments, identity checks, document uploads, signing your agreement, coursework submission, exam booking confirmation, special-arrangement requests and exams themselves all happen on Breathing Fish University or university pages that your AI cannot see into. Your assistant can open the link; you complete the step yourself.
Host support tiers
AI vendors change their features often, so this list is re-checked every quarter and before each intake. The web portal covers every essential function, so no student is ever locked out.

How we keep it safe
One person per token
The plug-in is identical for everyone and holds no identity or secrets. Who it acts for comes only from the token issued to you, checked on our server on every request.
The AI can ask, never authorise
Your assistant is treated as untrusted. Every request is checked against your role, your relationship to the record, its current state and the university’s rules. Anything unclear is refused.
Minimum data
Tool results carry only what the task needs. Course material is licensed to you personally and downloadable files are watermarked.
Short-lived access
Access tokens last at most 10 minutes and refresh tokens rotate on every use. Suspicious reuse revokes the connection.
EU data storage
Primary data storage is planned in the European Union. You decide which AI app sees your own study data.
Academic integrity
Our tools never return model answers to graded work, marking schemes or exam content. Integrity also rests on declarations, similarity checks and in-person exams.
